The world premiere of the Audi A6 C7 took place at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit in 2011. At launch, the new Audi business class offered four V6 engines – two gasoline and two TDI variants, with power outputs ranging from 150 kW (204 hp) to 220 kW (300 hp).
To improve efficiency, all engines featured Audi's innovative thermal management, a recuperation system and a start-stop system.
The C7 model series, produced from 2011 to 2018, impressed with its combination of elegant design, advanced technology and powerful engines. It featured a modern and dynamic design with a distinctive Singleframe grille and sharply drawn lines. The 2014 facelift brought additional design updates, including new headlights and taillights.
